Personal archipelago€140.00My land is where I rest my feet A Sicilian family emigrated in Australia, turned to me for a personalised creation, driven by the wish to bring some of our wonderful land with them. Their nostalgia inspired me this music box that, thanks to the power of imagination, move these two different and distant places closer: a couple and a kangaroo live the islands above a sea of notes.

Vroom vroom€50.00Life is more fun if you play Which child hasn’t dreamt of driving a truck? I remember that, when I was a child, I used to spend hours and hours playing with my little truck and in my fantasy I would load it, unload it and drive it for real. This music box, made with the most regular and pure shapes that exist – rectangle and circle – brings me back to those happily endless hours.

Colourmotive€130.00I want a train loaded with colours A father wanted to give his son a music box, but the boy was crazy about toy trains. It seemed to him to have made an irreconcilable request, nevertheless playing with geometrical shapes, I managed to create a little stylised train full of colours. I only ask the customer to express his wish, then it is up to me to give it a shape!

Piano Battaglia, a mountain resort on the Madonie reminds me of excursions I used yo do with my family when I was a child and now, after so many years, it is wonderful to take my son. Generations follow one another, but some places remain unaltered over time. A fir tree and a house like those of that wonderful place symbolize family and the cycles of nature and life.

The melody will accompany nine months of intimacy, it will become a lullaby for each nap and will remain the symbol of the family bond, transitional object of every life step, capable of transmitting warmth and security!

The lighthouse€55.00Guardians of my islandAnother article that represents my Sicilianism, dedicated to the coasts keepers, from Augusta to Favignana, passing from Lampedusa and then moving to San Vito lo Capo, hiking up to the top of Strombolicchio to the Montorsoli Beacon, visible to those coming from the continent. My lighthouse, with its essential shapes, represents them all and has become one of the most captivating items in my production.

Ice creaaaaaam!!!€55.00A peddler, three wheels and more flavoursBy now, ice cream carts are rare in Italian and European metropolis. They were one of the symbols of products “made in Italy” exported abroad as a consequence of Italian emigration. When a mother from Palermo requested me a music box for her daughter, which would bring her back in time, I remembered an ancient photo I had seen in a café, portraying an ice cream seller and his cart: a vintage yet romantic idea.

This is the idea that guided me in creating the music box Point of View, ordered by a girl from Padua as a gift for her uncle, who is a photographer. Here you see the photographer on the background of the music box, leaning on his equipment aiming the lens to shoot as a gigantic human eye.
